I find this very innovative and informative!

All of their products are 100% EWG Level Certified and contains NO harmful ingredients like paraben, ethanol, PEG, mineral oil, silicone, triclosan, petrolatum, sulfate, phthalate, oxybenzone, synthetic fragrance and synthetic colourant. However, some of their products do contain essential oils which can be an irritant to some skins but Purito has taken their customers’ feedbacks into consideration and made some changes to their formulation. You’ll be able to find scented and unscented versions, even though not all of their products have the unscented version, they are definitely working on it!

What is it?

A super gentle chemical exfoliant with a toner formulation. It has a watery consistency and absorbs really quickly into the skin prepping it for the next step. This product is a great beginner’s chemical exfoliant or someone who has very sensitive skin but wants to achieve brighter skin. Besides containing AHA, BHA and PHA, this product also contains allantoin, hyaluronic acid, and panthenol! Chemical exfoliants helps shed dead skin cells without adding pressure that might cause micro tears.

- Mandelic acid (one of the many [AHAs] Alpha Hydroxy Acids) but also the most gentle due to its large molecular size compared to glycolic acid which has the smallest molecular size. It works by exfoliating the epidermis (top most layer) of the skin to reveal newer and brighter skin. This also encourages growth of new and healthy skin cells.

- Gluconolactone [PHA] Polyhydroxy Acids are the next generation of Alpha Hydroxy Acids, AHA but works like AHAs. In addition, its antioxidant properties protects skin from free radical and UV damage and helps strengthen skin barrier function.

- Lastly, this product also contains betaine salicylate (keratolytic beta hydroxy acid or BHA). It’s a fatty acid derived from sugar beet plant. Being an oil soluble exfoliator, it’s able to penetrate deep into the dermis to breakdown keratin and sebum that builds up in our pores. This is great alternative for people who are sensitive to salicylic acid.

- Super hydrating as it contains 80% apple water, hyaluronic acid, and panthenol (Vitamin B5).

How to use it?

It is made as a toner formula, use this after cleansing your face. Pump about 1-2 times onto palm, rub it between your palms and gently pat into skin. Personally, I will still layer another hydrating toner after this step so I consider the PURITO as my daily chemical exfoliant step before toner. However, you may use this as a toner unless you have very dehydrated skin. Remember to always apply sunscreen after your whole skincare routine!

PURITO Centella Green Level All In One Mild Pad (70 pads)

Ingredients:

What is it?

Comparing it to PURITO ABP Triple Synergy Liquid, this doesn’t contain any AHA/PHA that sheds your epidermis (top most layer of skin) but it does contain Betaine Salicylate, a combination of the famous exfoliant, salicylic acid and gentle moisturizer, betaine, makes it a milder version of Salicylic Acid. Making Betaine Salicylate a good alternative for those who are sensitive to salicylic acid. Like salicylic acid, it treats blackheads as well as preventing acne formation. At the end of the day, how effective the exfoliant is, depends on the concentration. This pad contains calming ingredients like Asiaticoside, Asiatic Acid, Madecassic Acid. This product has a strong tea tree essential oil smell.

It does soothes my skin after cleansing and it does not burn/sting my broken pimple wound. I like that this product comes with a mini plastic tweezer that keeps the pad sanitary. However, this product is not very essential. Once again, I feel guilty for the massive waste of materials as the cotton pad is only 1 time usage. The PURITO ABP Triple Synergy Liquid (gentle chemical exfoliant) is a good alternative if you’re want to be more environmentally conscious.

How to use it?

It’s basically a toner pad, use a piece after cleansing.

What is it?

Like the bottle says it is, a buffet of many great ingredients for the skin. This is basically your all in one serum. This serum contains skin calming ingredients like centella asiatica as the key ingredient and additional ingredients like Asiaticoside, Asiatic Acid and Madecassic Acid that help soothes and calm angry inflamed skin. This product contains several essential oils but the more noticeable scent would be lavender oil. The smell is very calming especially when used in the night.

Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) my favourite water-soluble vitamin that help visibly minimize enlarged pores, tighten lax pores, improve uneven skin tone, soften fine lines and wrinkles, diminish dullness, and strengthen a weakened surface. Niacinamide also reduces the impact of environmental damage because of its ability to improve skin’s barrier, plus it also plays a role in helping skin to repair signs of past damage.

This serum also contains anti-aging (peptides, adenosine, and panthenol [Vitamin B5]) ingredients which help to improve wrinkles with long-term use.

If all of that is not enough, this product also contains Ceramide NP, one of the several types of ceramides, which are naturally occurring, long chains of lipids (fats) that are major components of skin’s outer layers. Research shows moisturizers containing ceramide NP can improve the look and feel of dry skin.

I honestly can’t ask for a better serum! I love how it just glides onto my skin so smoothly and the light aroma of lavender is so calming when used in the night before bed. However, some people may be allergic to essential oils, hence, PURITO came up with an unscented version (PURITO Centella Unscented Serum) of this beautiful serum. This is great for people who don’t have the luxury of applying so many products or someone looking for something quick and easy, this is the serum for you! It can also be great for travelling. The consistency is suitable for oily combination skin as it is a gel like which absorbs into the skin without feeling heavy.

This product also comes in the unscented version for those who are allergic to essential oils!

How to use it?

Like any other serums, simply apply this on face after toner step. Pump 1-2 times on palm and gently pat it into skin till fully absorbs. You may use this day and night! Like every skincare in the world, patience is key when it comes to caring for your skin in the long run.

What is it?

It’s an organic (chemical) sunscreen, it contains the two UV filters Uvinul A Plus (Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate) and Uvinul T 150 (Ethylhexyl Triazone).

Uvinul A Plus provides high UVA protection.

What is UVA? Long wavelength, it is able to penetrate deep into the skin. Causes skin ageing and damage.

Uvinul T 150 provides high UVB protection.

What is UVB? Short wavelength, penetrates the epidermis (skin’s top layer). Causes sunburn.

Both UV filters have high photostability which means it doesn’t break down after exposure to UV light, so the protection doesn’t decrease as much. However, reapplying sunscreen is still recommended.

Unlike the usual in-organic (physical/mineral) sunscreen, it doesn’t cause a white cast that tends to sink into the lines of the skin. Very ideal for people with medium to darker skin tones. Highly recommend this for everyone even makeup users and especially those whose skin is frequently under the sun..

Besides giving your skin great UVB & UVA, this sunscreen contains skin loving ingredients too! While protecting your skin, it also helps brighten, soothe and heal the skin. It also contains Niacinamide (Vitamin B3), Centella Asiatica Extract, Madecassoside, Asiaticoside, Madecassic Acid, Asiatic Acid, Adenosine, Hyaluronic Acid and Tocopherol (Vitamin E)!!! I’m blown away by the amount of goodies in just one sunscreen. This sunscreen can be used as a moisturizer + sunscreen step for people with oily skin as it is quite moisturizing.

How to use it?

After moisturizer, apply a good amount on face and neck during the day. For oily skin, you may use this as a moisturizer.
